Play resources I make that are available to buy!

Did you know that as well as writing this playblog I also create a few play resources that are inexpensive to buy, especially if you just don't have the time to make and source these things for yourself.


I make gorgeous soft, non-toxic SensoryDough. Made with food grade ingredients so it does not matter if little one decides to sample a bit! Suitable from around 6 months or when they are able to sit up and play. I call it SensoryDough because it is designed to excite many sense. So they are brightly coloured, scented, heavily textured. I have a whole 'menu' to choose from or you can tell me what you would like and I can design it to your specification. They come in 100g sealed pots. These can come gift wrapped with cutters for a little extra, and make an especially cute party bag gift or wedding favour. If you are in interested in purchasing you can contact me.  CreativeCrayons is another creation of mine. Beautiful, handmade, shaped and marbled crayons. A maelstrom of colours so that with each scribble the colour changes!

 I also make Sensory Craft Packs named: 'What you make it!'
These are designed to promote open ended play. I know that a lot of people purchase kits e.g 'Make a fairy' however I was keen to not give children an end product to have to achieve. This way children won't feel a frustration if their design doesn't look like the illustration on the box! It also promotes imaginative play and is designed for you to sit with your child, exploring all the different textures to see what you can create together. I don't make these craft packs all year round as I like to source a vast range of textures for them which takes quite a lot of preparation. Therefore these are largely seasonal, and rather popular at Christmas. As and when I have these available I shall put a notice here. There are a few future things in the pipeline... I am hoping to create some beautiful homemade modelling clay kits in time for Christmas so that you can create your child's own handprint/footprint to keep forever or as a gorgeous bespoke gift for someone. Watch this space!
